Boston Box

Boston Box is an Okito Coin Box that has a recessed bottom which allows it to appear full after a steal is made.

George Boston has been erroneously linked to the Boston Box by J.B. Bobo in his book Modern Coin Magic. Most believe now that it just originated in the city of Boston.[1]

In fact, this kind of box has already been explained within chapter 31 of The Discovery of Witchcraft by Reginald Scot, published in 1584.
