C. Victor Dealy commuted regularly to the national Society of American Magicians (which he was member number 139) meetings in New York from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and worked his way up to serving as first vice president for many years.

He was one of the founding members of the Yogi Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1907. Dealy fitted up a miniature theatre in his home, which he called "Le Petite Theatre", and the Yogi Club met.[1]

It was reported in the Linking Ring for February 1950 that he was killed by a car just before Christmas.
