''Camelard College'' is the world's only Honor Society for magicians. The Honor Society takes the form of an educational institution. Distinguished and honored magicians are admitted as Faculty and given the title of Professor. Accomplished young magicians (under 18) are admitted as students and given the title of Fellow (for both boy and girl magicians).

<font+2>''Camelard College'', as an educational institution, functions in two worlds--the mythical and the mundane. The College is a mythical magic school that exists in the world of magical delight, but the College also has an actual faculty of magicians that includes national officers in our largest magical organizations, household-name professional magicians (many with Las Vegas fame), local and regional professional magicians, dedicated magic hobbyists, and young magicians (under 18) who are learning The Art and who constitute the student body. Camelard College has a home page. Click [http://www.camelardcollege.org HERE] to visit.

In the mundane world (the doorway to the World of Magical Delight), Camelard College has specific goals for its Faculty and Student Body:
+

+
*''CCCC'' enriches the magical persona of its members by granting lifetime titled positions on its Faculty and by granting the right to use its '''''Magical Maxim''''' in the public performance of conjuring. Thus, Faculty members may, in their magical persona, introduce themselves (or be introduced as) Professor ''Name'' and may speak all or part of the Magic Maxim in performing magic. Magicians under 18 are granted the title of ''Fellow''.

+
*''CCCC'' honors magicians who are dedicated to the Art of Performance Magic. The several ranks from Fellow to Trustee constitute the honors conferred.

*''CCCC'' encourages those of its Faculty who are so inclined to teach magic to the worthy interested (see ''Faculty Handbook'' information, below). The Professor, as Sage, hands on the precious Magical Tradition as a vital part of the life of the conjurer.

While the Institution is mythical, its members are not. All Camelard College Faculty are encouraged, as their time and ability permit, to take their honored role as Sage and teach the Art of Magic, as, for example, through local libraries and community colleges. To that end, our teaching Faculty may order the official ''Faculty Handbook, The Complete Guide to Teaching Magic'', 2nd edition written by CCCC Senior Full Professor Alfred Albers. The book contains guidance and tips to teaching magic courses through the local library or community college. Included are sample syllabi. For CCCC Faculty who are interested, the ''Faculty Handbook'' can be ordered from the home page of [http://camelardcollege.org CCCC].

Even though “mythical,” Camelard has actual Faculty and Students. A magician who holds S.A.M. membership or I.B.M. membership or who holds membership in an equivalent national/international magical society may apply for a faculty position at the fabled Camelard College of Conjuring of Chemmis, Egypt. Also, young magicians (not yet 18) may apply for student status.
+

+
If you qualify for a Faculty Position at CCCC and if you are 18 years of age or older, you are invited to apply. Applications with the appropriate resumè are never declined, although the requested rank appointment may be adjusted. A Faculty Member receives a Letter of Appointment and a Certificate of Membership at the appropriate rank. A Fellow (under 18) also receives a Letter of Appointment and a Certificate.
+

+
Application is uncomplicated: merely send an email with a brief magical resumè attached in Word format or in rtf format. A pdf file of the resumè is also acceptable. The resumè should show your years in the Art and any other magical accomplishments. In the email, give the rank to which you are applying. All materials submitted, including emails, are held in confidence and are neither sold nor distributed in any manner.
+

+
''We emphasize again that there is no cost of any kind for an appointment or for CCCC documents''. Your magical accomplishments and qualifications are your payment.
