Clark Fonda performed professionally as "The Fabulous Fondas" with his wife Ruth around New York State and on cruise ships.


He was a Past President of IBM Ring 186 which was named for him in 1992. He was also a life-long member of the Society of American Magicians, and Past President of Assembly 24.

Clark, whose ancestors founded Fonda, New York, worked in bowling alleys, as a lumberjack, leather worker, owned and directed an alcohol free club for teenagers, and in 1940. joined the General Electric Company, self-learning his ultimate trade as a master prototype tool maker.

They married Ruth in 1959. After retiring from G.E. in 1976 when he pursued a full-time career as an internationally known cruise ship entertainer.[1]
