Clifford P. Norton (1886-1964), born and raised in Chicago was a professional magician in the Chicago area. He toured and performed on the Vaudeville circuit with his wife (and later his second wife) during the 1920s as Norton the Magnificent."

Biography

Norton first became interested in magic in the fall of 1900 after seeing Harry Kellar at the McVicker's theater.

His first appearance in public was at 15 for a church function in Chicago on May 23, 1901. Soon after, he began a successful career. During the summer of 1905 he also worked with Jack Burch.

He later moved to San Jose where he was member of the Mystic Thirteen.[1][2]
