Ed Dart

Edward W. Dart Template:PersonInfo, born in Kansas City, was a long time member in the magic community, helping form magic organizations and publishing magazines.

Dart, in the insurance field by trade, and one of the founders of the Magician's Guild of America in New York. He was one of the founders and eventually the publisher of the Conjurors' Magazine.

From December, 1949 until May, 1952, Ed wrote for Genii a monthly news summary covering the New York area.

A lifelong member in the magic community he was:

  • Life member of the Magic Dealers Association
  • Life member of the Magician's Alliance of Eastern States
  • Life member of SAM Parent Assembly #1
  • Honorary member of the Society of Indian Magicians, Calcutta, India
