Johannes Edmund Spreer (May 13,1902 - June 8, 1983)
Born in Leipzig.
Apprenticed to a master mechanic. He started building his own props and moved to South America to work with Maurice Raymond. He then began a long association with David Bamberg.

Creative Fellowship from the Academy of Magical Arts (1978)
