Eli Hackman was a semi-professional magician specializing in children's parties, ventriloquism, and Punch and Judy shows.

He was a past of President S. A. M. Assembly No. 4 in Philadelphia.[1]

On April 11, 1923 in Philadelphia, Eli Hackman was one of the first performers to do Punch and Judy on radio.[2]

He made and sold. some of the vent figures and in 1920, he created the Sure Shot Dice Box.[3]
