Etienne Pradier was born on 13 January 1965 in Saint-Vallier, Drôme, France.

He has lived for 25 years in Wye near to Ashford, United Kingdom. Etienne is now recognized as one of the best magicians in the world. In the 2000s Etienne was rewarded by the Magic Circle twice as vice champion of UK and finished in third position at the world championship.[1] He became an international magician who performs around the world.

Biography

Etienne Pradier was born on June the 13, 1965. He is the eldest of Jean and Marinette Pradier’s children. He grew up in Saint-Uze where his father runs a farm. After a 3 year course in Mechanical engineering , the young Etienne, aged 18, did not attend his final exam and left the South of France and mechanics to study fashion in Paris. A year later, he graduated from “Designer-model” to the model institute in Paris and a contract with Biscote Paris company, and after Z. Victory - Tara Jarmon. That's when he met Gerard Majax and David Copperfield in the famous store Mayette Magie Moderne.They introduced him to the art of magic. He then took lessons with the grandmaster Peter Édernac. He then left for England in 1991, where he moved to Eastbourne.

His beginnings in magic

In Sussex, South East England with Company E&Clark Enternainment Etienne began his career as a magician. Firstly, he was magician on board Ferries Dover-Calais for SeaFrance and aboard cruise ships bound for Singapore, Malaysia,and more. Four years after arriving in the UK, “the French man” was hired in the famous factory wheels Cammegh [2] in Ashford where he worked for 5 years, combining this position with its magician business in the world.

The magic of the 2000s

The year 2000 is a milestone in the career of the magician. He is becoming more and more famous, and decided to resign from his post at Cammegh and branch out on his own as a magician. Therefore everything is accelerating; he finishes in the 3rd position as Close-Up Magician at the International magic convention; runner up in the United Kingdom and received the title of Magician of the Year by The Magic Circle which he only joined in 1997. Two years later, he again took third place in the Ron MacMillan's competition and won the national title, which was held this time in Blackpool. The recognition in his career arrives in 2003, in the Netherlands, where he took third place in the FISM,[3] the most prestigious competition of Magic in the world. Some say that the "French man" came to the competition without his playing cards and borrowed pack from another competitor before going on stage and pocketing the bronze cup. In the following weeks, Etienne Pradier is the guest on numerous television shows and reveals magic secrets. Therefore, the Magic Circle is starting to question Etienne integrity. Internal tensions grow so Etienne leaves the club in late 2003 but he is reinstated the following year and is given the Gold Star card. At the end of the decade, the reputation of Etienne Pradier paramount, he launched his own brand of specialized products for magicians: Magic Product[4] and his entertainment company: the Butterfly Trix Agency.

His success and reputation are dazzling, the French can’t respond positively to all requests. This is how in 2007, Etienne Pradier founded the events company Butterfly Trix Agency real catalogue of entertainment's artists from all genres.[5] Booming, the company, also based at Wye, currently has over 100 artists listed and carries out contracts throughout England and even exported abroad.

Diverse audiences

Etienne is now asked everywhere and performs regularly at very different audiences, including many celebrities. We know, for example, he frequenting the British Royal Family, Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis or Pierce Brosnan, but he also worked for companies such as Google, Microsoft, HSBC and Peugeot. In addition, some rumors say that Etienne was the magician of the official marriage ceremony princier,[6] but there is nothing to confirm it.
