Craige Snader (c.1929-1994), A.I.M.C., was a magic publisher (Exclusive Magic Publications) and mentalist using the name "Alex Redans".

Biography

His interest in magic was sparked by his uncle, Henry McComb Bush, who gave him a giant size Gilbert Mysto Magic Set and a copy of Tarbell Volume One

After graduating from the University of Delaware, he moved to Mexico, Snader. There he pioneered technical analysis of the Mexican Stock Exchange while teaching at the University of the Americas and writing a column in the local English newspaper.

Later, he got a directing job at Mexico's Tourist Council, which duties carried him to Orlando, Florida several times a year. On one of his visits, he got with Bev Bergeron to produce the first commercial interview of a magician on audio tape — the Burling Hull tape.[1]

Also writing and performing as the mentalist "Alex Redans", he was an active member of the IBM Ring No. 164 in Mexico City. During his tenure as secretary of that group every issue of The Linking Ring featured a report of their activities. [2]

He became a publisher of magic books under Exclusive Magic Publications and issued the Magic Sounds quarterly publication.

He was also a member of the S.A.M., T.A.O.M., The Magic Circle and made an honorary member of the International Guild of Prestidigitators (Club Azteca) and he became the Mexican correspondent for Genii and Hade-E-Gram Magizette.[3]
