Father Paul Lloyd (1905-1952) served as Chaplain of the IBM and performed at many magic conventions.

Biography

Father Lloyd was only two year when his family moved to Chicago where he lived until he lost both his parents at the age of 10. He was then raised in Aurora, Illinois, by an aunt and uncle.

A close friend of Brother John Hamman, he was served as president of IBM Ring 1 in 1951 and was a member of many organizations, including the Chicago Round Table and the Chicago IBM Ring.

Lloyd won best novelty act at the Combined IBM/SAM convention in 1951, a year before his death of a heart attack at the age of 48.[1]

He was the author of a book of tricks for priests.[3]
