The Fellowship of the Flying Sorcerers was a small collection of conjurers from the United Kingdom organized by Goodliffe, the editor of Abra, around 1950. As he traveled to more than a dozen different countries to report magical conventions overseas, he took with him this these hand-picked magicians to baffle them.
In 1965 Goodliffe and his Flying Sorcerers came to the United States for the conventions planned to visit Niagara Falls.
The first Flying Sorcerers' Congress was held at St. Brelade's Bay, Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands in 1968.
