Frank Cole (1913-1968) was a magician who worked with Jack Gwynne for a number of years and before launched out on his own with Gwynne's daughter Peggy.[1]

Biography

When Cole was a young magician working with his father's dairy business near Providence, Rhode Island, he saw Gwynne's show. He asked Gwynne for a job,went on the road with the Gwynnes. He eventually married his daughter Peggy, an assistant in the show in 1935 on February 6 at the groom's home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

They worked in the family act for a number of years and then launched out on their own.

During World War II, the travel abroad, performing for the USO.

Years later, he built a home in Oak Lawn when the Gwynnes formed their Mystery Manor. He was in business for a while, with brother-in-law Buddy, in house building, but, led by Peg's enthusiasm, opened Travel, Inc. This successful venture into the travel agency business took him and Peggy far and wide, and they especially loved Hawaii. [2][3]

Peggy died in Hawaii April 2nd, 1973.
