Frank Fewins (1886-1960) was active in various Los Angeles area magic clubs.
Biography
As a teen, Fewins was one of the founders of the Los Angeles Society of Magicians. He was also a member and served in the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians, International Guild of Prestidigitators, and SAM Assembly No. 22 (he held card No. 781, which was signed by Houdini)
He wrote a column, "Odd Magical Facts" which ran in the Sphinx, Genii, and later [[M-U-M].
Fewins was known for his scrap-book which he compiled for over 35 years containing all magical news items in local papers. These scrapbooks were expected to be received by the Los Angeles Public Library on his death. [1]
