Frank Holland (1893-?) was a amateur magician to performed magic throughout Europe.
Biography
He developed a passion for music and by fifteen was presenting a musical act in public. But two years later, his attention turned to magic.
During the war when serving with the British forces, Holland performed with the Pom-Pom Concert Party. In 1917 everything he owned was destroyed in the German onslaught. He continued performing with the Hollies Concert Party (a group of accomplished amateur entertainers) until the time of his demobilization.
Holland took his magic throughout Europe, making a point of performing in villages and before peasant audiences. In 1928, he visited Andorra, where the natives attributed him with supernatural powers. He also visited the Balearic Islands in the western Mediterranean Sea, taking magic to natives in this remote spot.
Holland was a member of the Magicians' Club[1]
