George B. Anderson (1909[1]-1985), who started out as newspaper and radio mystery writer in Chicago, later became a professional mentalist.[2]
Biography
By the time he was 17 he was working in tent shows as a magician. His tuition at the University of Iowa was largely paid for by doing magic shows. From a journalism start, he moved to advertising in the thirties and then began writing radio scripts.[3]
Anderson originated a number of T.V. shows including the Bud Bowman series and Magic Ranch.[4][5]
He was the confidant of Thurston and Blackstone Sr.[6]
