George Grimmond (1901-1985) was a professional magician and escapologist throughout the south of England since 1914. [1]

Biography

He built much of his own equipment and his training as an engineer enabled him to devise ingenious escape props.

For many years, he acted as agent for dozens of Eastbourne's large hotels, booking acts for the Christmas season.

He often appeared in the Magic Circle shows at the Scala Theatre in London and Paul Daniels performed his triple box escape on T.V.[2]
