Georg Heubeck (b.1829-d.1899), born in Vienna, was one of Hofzinser's favorite pupils.
Biography
In 1870, he was assistant to Compars Herrmann and a few years later in the year 1873, he was engaged by Kratky-Baschik to perform at his theatre in Vienna. He played there for eight straight years.
During his last years of life, before he died blind and poverty-stricken, he was aided by Ottokar Fischer whom he revealed many of Hofzinser's unique card experiments. [1]
