George Nicolls (fl. 1940s-1960s), with wife Rene, toured the country with a magic show. One act they did was a cooking theme.

Biography

Nicolls played sixteen consecutive weeks at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, twelve weeks at the Club Tropics in Hollywood, twelve weeks at the Biltmore Hotel, Las Vegas and other California venues in the late 1940s.

He also acquired a complete "Spook Show".

They once had their entire show stolen while playing in Seattle.[1]

In the 1960s, Nicolls opened a "School of Magic" in Studio City, California, specializing in teaching adults close-up magic.[2]
