Greg Manwaring (b. 1962) began learning magic from the books found in the library located on the Army base in Wuerzburg, Germany, where he grew up (between 1972 and 1983).
Biography
Manwaring, best known for his book illustrations, began illustrating magic books and tricks in 1983 for the likes of Michael Ammar, Michael Weber and David Williamson while attending the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, where he studied the Art of Character Animation under the tutelage of old Disney greats. During his 3 years at College he was thrilled to sell an illusion idea to Doug Henning. Manwaring was honored to cap off his magic illustration career by illustrating Dai Vernon's Revelations.
