Gunther Dammann (1910-1941) was an amateur magician who performed as "Robertini" and is noted for his biography on Jewish magicians.

Biography

Dammann took up magic in 1924 and was taught by Chevalier Ernest Thorn.[1] He contributor to magazines and newspapers and was a member of Magischer Zirkel, Hamburg.[2]

In letters, H. Adrian Smith warned Dammann that his 1933 book on Jewish magicians might inspire the wrath of the Nazi. Dammann was sent to a Nazi extermination camp near Riga, Latvia.[3]
