Gus Burkhart

Flourished1900s

Gus Burkhart, billed as "King of Coins" started as a salesman of trick cards.

He became so successful he was able to do his own full evening show, and with this he toured the United States and the Southern countries.[1]

Feburary 1926 issue of the Linking Ring, we see him inducted as a new member of the IBM as No. 1226 while living in Jamaica, New York. But, by March 1928 they are asking of his whereabouts as his mail had been returned unclaimed.

His photo can be seen in the Conjuring Arts exhibit "The Many Faces of Magic"[2]
