Haines House of Cards was established by Ronald Haines (1906-1974) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1947.[1]


During the last illness of the late John Snyder, Jr. (1888-1946), Haines managed his Fox Lake Cards. Then after Snyder's death, he purchased the business and renamed it "Haines House of Cards" in 1947.[2]

He ran the company until his death for more then 30 years.

The store is currently run by Betty Winzig, and still produces the original Svengali, Stripper, Don Alan's Invisible pack to name a few.


The S.A.M. Assembly No. 11, Queen City Mystics, generally meet there the second Friday of each month.[3]
