Hastings (Hal) Clawson was the manager ofWill B. Wood, including for his final tragic tour of Mexico in 1908.
He later managed Frederick Eugene Powell and briefly toured vaudeville with the Wood's famous "Edna" levitation.
Richard Hatch is his great-nephew.
