Seven of his tricks also comprised the Magicana section that issue: Currency Swap, Quiet Revolution, The Bill Doctor, YKK, Balloon Bank Nite, The Strange Pass and The Uncluttered Mind.

In addition to his own books for the public, written in Japanese, Sakai has contributed original material to two American books - New Magic of Japan (Kaufman & Goldstein, 1988) and Five Times Five: Japan (Kaufman, 1992). Another of his tricks, a handling for Oil and Water called Color Sunder, appeared in the October 2006 issue of Genii.
