Homer Liwag is a magician and designer known for his coin magic and underground status. He is currently Creative Design manager for David Copperfield.

Publications

Until recently, Liwag has kept himself out of the magic limelight, and although he worked at Illusions magic restaurant in Indiana from 1989-1994, his published work has been relatively small.

He is best known for his work with Chris Kenner, and co-illustrated and co-wrote his best-selling book, Totally Out of Control, as well as helping him with his short-lived publication, the Magic Man Examiner. Homer illustrated Magic from the Soul, by René Levand as well as original art for Rudy Coby's infamous "Dead-Rocker" stamps routine.

Most of the work Liwag has published is in hard to find publications such as Magic Man Examiner and The Minotaur. A short set of never before seen lecture notes, featuring 3 of Homer's pet routines, was published in 2008 - The Rice Papers.

DVD

  • CoinOne: Liwag recently released his first DVD, CoinOne in 2006. The DVD contains his coins across routine (previously published as Four Coins and a Filipino in Magic Man Examiner by Chris Kenner - 1991), and another bonus routine of Chris Kenners. The DVD is highly acclaimed for the quality of the routine, as well as the teaching of the routine and the editing.
  • CoinTwo: Following the success of CoinOne, Coin Two has been announced. The DVD will contain two routines, and a trailer has been posted on Liwags website. The details of the routines have yet to be disclosed.
