Notes of Interest
- Compucard was originally slated to appear in the Masters of Magic series, and features a handful of unique sleights, including a false cut called The Meir Mix, an unusual flourish called The Card Sorting Move, and a revelation called The Slingshot Snap-Out (first published in Richard Kaufman's Cardworks)
- An outgrowth of Royal Takeover appeared more than 25 years later in the January 2008 issue of Genii under the name Radical Hold'em.
- This book was the first in a projected series called The Professional Magic Series, which ultimately delivered only one more installment - Gary Ouellet's ProControl.
