  • An outgrowth of Royal Takeover appeared more than 25 years later in the January 2008 issue of Genii under the name Radical Hold'em.
  • This book was the first in a projected series called The Professional Magic Series, which ultimately delivered only one more installment - Gary Ouellet's ProControl.
