Dr. Jacob Daley ( March 26,1897 - February 17, 1954) was a plastic surgeon and amateur magician. Born in Russia, he came to New York at the age of three. He graduated from Fordham University School of Medicine then founded the American Otolaryngologic Society for Plastic Surgery.

Several of his routines he developed were published in the Stars of Magic series. He also took the photographs for Dai Vernon's " Royal Monte " and Slydini's " The Art of Using the Lap as a Servante." A well known card routine is Daley's Last Trick.

He has a chapter on the side steal in the third edition of Expert Card Technique. Daley's favorite book was The Expert at the Card Table.

He died suddenly following a luncheon show before the Art Directors Club, in New York where he had just finished performing a version of Vernon's The Travelers and his Cavorting Aces (also now known as Daley's Last Trick).
