James W. Farney (1908-1950) was a super market manager and amateur magician.
Biography
Farney was a Past President of the Quad City Society of Magicians in Davenport, Iowa, (I.B.M. Ring No. 11). He also served as Chaplain of the organization at the time of his death.[1]
He was prominent in magical activities in that Quad-City area, particularly as a magical MC. He owned an extensive library of magic books.</ref>Tops, April 1950</ref>[2]
