Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Goldblum (born October 22, 1952) is an American actor. He often portrays quirky, intense or eccentric characters. He is also known for his distinctive appearance and staccato delivery of lines.

While living in New York during the filming of the movie "Nashnville", he roomed with a magic guy and learned some things.

Goldblum in the movie "Adam Resurrected" plays former Berlin magician and circus impresario Adam Stein, a patient at the Seizling Institute, a remote Israeli rehabilitation outpost for Holocaust survivors.

He performed a rope routine on Late Night with David Letterman.
