John E. Coutts (1882-1944) performed a 1922 film exposing the Sawing a Woman in Half.
Biography
The movie was shown throughout the United States[1][2][3] Produced by the Alexander Film Corporation, in conjunction with Clarion Photoplays, they were sued by Horace Goldin, who eventually won with the help of Harry Houdini.[4]
