John Scarne's Newsletter was devoted to "The Wide World of Gambling casinos, race and sports betting, lotteries, bingo and raffles, carnival games, private dice and card games."
It included are special features on the Psychic World, confidence games, stock and bank frauds, plus lessons in card and magic tricks by John Scarne.
It first advertised in June, 1976 issue of Genii.
The first three issues of volume one were dated (Jan,Feb,March 1976), while subsequent issues were only labeled with the issue numbers.
It was announced in Genii 1978 January that the newsletter had been discontinued after Vol. 2, No. 1 due to Scarne's excessive travel schedule.
