Kainoa Harbottle is a Hawaiian-born magician who currently lives in Delaware and is a Professor of English at the Univeristy of Delaware where he teaches a course on magic history. His PhD dissertation was on magic in Victorian England (Conjuring Culture: Performance magic, masculinity, and literature in Victorian and Edwardian England, University of Delaware 2011).

He worked at Curtis Kam’s showroom in Waikiki as well as in restaurants and for private shows in both the business sector and the tourist industry.
