Leland Sangster (1898-1952) performed for many years as "The Great Leland".

Biography

Sangster was a member of our I.B.M. Ring 90 and held the office of president last year of his life.

Known for his sleight-of-hand work, he contributed considerably toward entertaining charitable institutions in his area.

Leland was employed in Iowa by the Post Office for 22 years before moving to Albuquerque. In Albuquerque he was working with the Sandia Corporation in charge of its plastic laboratory. [1]

In the 1930s, he had an ad in the Linking Ring[2]:
