Lin Searles (b.1914-d.1972), born Lynn Searles, was author, magic shop owner and magician.
Biography
He was a semi-professional magician starting in 1929, specializing in sleight of hand with cards and was a member of SAM and IMC.[1]
Searles was an author of many western novels and worked at Owen Magic for a number of years and helped write scripts for Mark Wilson's TV show "Magic land Of Allakazam".
He was owner of the Magic Wand magic store in Pasadena, California and died as a result of gunshot wounds inflicted in the course of a robbery there.
Searles was the creator of the classic card plot called Cannibal Cards. Other creations of his were published in Pallbearers Review by Karl Fulves.[2]
