Mac Wilson (b. 1915), MIMC, a retired civil servant, was a semi-professional close-up and stage magician.
Biography
During WWII he was attached to the Navy Post Office, but in his spare time he entertained the camps. Sometimes he would team up with other magicians such as Geoffrey Robinson and Reginald Salmon.
Hie pet effect was the production of a glass of Scotch.
He was the Deputy Secretary and then Honorary Vice-President of the [Magic Circle]]. He received his MIMC in 1948 and a Silver Wand in 1956.
In 1991, he moved to a he moved to a retirement complex in Edinburgh.[1]
He was elected into the Society of American Magicians Hall of Fame and Magic Museum.
