MagicPedia is a wiki-style online encyclopedia dedicated to the techniques and history of magic. The goal for MagicPedia is to be the definitive Internet repository for all areas of the magical arts to document the history of magic.

MagicPedia can be thought of as a living document that is constantly updated, allowing any magic enthusiast or historian to collaborate and incorporate their collective knowledge, analysis, and insights.

MagicPedia is not a place to post gratuitous explanations of magic tricks. It is a living document, always in flux, that reflects the the background knowledge required for a thorough study of the art of magic in all its facets. Information will undergo revisions on the honor system, but articles at times may be temporally locked or changed by the administrators of MagicPedia without warning.
