Magic Collectors' Association

The Magic Collectors’ Association was founded in 1949 in New York City by several prominent collectors of that era including Morris N. Young[ and [Milbourne Christopher]].

The MCA has hundreds of members in the around the world, interested in the history of magicians and magic as a performing art. Members collectors of books, posters, tokens, apparatus, printed ephemera (programs, tickets, broadsides, etc.) and memorabilia (photos, letters, etc.) about past and present performers.

Information and anecdotes about careers, inventions, stage routines, techniques, publicity and lives spent in "the world of magic" are written about in their journal Magicol.

They have an annual gathering called the Magic Collectors' Weekend which began in the 1970s.
