Magic Dealers Association
Magic Dealers Association was formed in 1946 and incorporated in Maryland in 1947 offers networking and services for magic supply retailers. Its past presidents include Gene Gordon, Merv Taylor, Russ Walsh, Paul Fried, Bob Little and Chuck Kirchner.
They have a trade show that circulates within the United States that is held every other year.
For a time the the Official Organ was the Bat, published by Lloyd Jones.
On March 23, 1947 the first meeting of the association was held and officers elected were Phil Thomas, President, Joe Karson, Vice President, Bill Holden, Treasurer and Frances Ireland, Secretary. See Genii 1962 April.
