Magic Museum Messenger was a quarterly newsletter about the progress of the Society of American Magicians Hall of Fame and Magic Museum. John U. Zweers produced and edited the Magic Museum Messenger from its inception with the first issue dated Spring 1994 through Vol. 9, No. 3, issued in 2002. Publication was suspended upon the illness and subsequent death of John Zweers in January 2004.

Since his passing the publication has been dormant. It was a hope of the Board of Directors of the Society of American Magicians Hall of Fame and Magic Museum to complete prior paid subscriptions by issuing Vol. 9, No. 4. This was finally accomplished in the last issue dated Summer 2014. This 52 page issue was a tribute to John U. Zweers and related the history of the Magic Museum.

The 36 issues of the Magic Museum Messenger included articles by respected historians about the early pioneer magicians, some of whom were founders of the Society of American Magicians, as well as articles about the Living Members of the S.A.M.
