Magical Bookie was a Magic Periodical published by Stephen Patrick that ram from N1 April 1960 thru N48 October 1974. thumb|right

They were issued on legal size paper and ran around 6 pages each. Some printed on one side, some printed on both sides.

It was originally printed on pink colored stock. A subsequent demand for copies of number 1 necessitated a re-print, but the stock of pink paper had run out, so the re-run was made on white paper. Thus a copy of number 1 on white paper indicates that it is a "second edition".
