Magical Criticisms was a quarterly Magic Periodical published by Hugh Mackay (of Scotland) under the pseudonym Sirius from 1921-1922. It offered critiques of then current periodicals (and later books and effects) "containing the unbiased opinion of one who is in no way connected with the trade side of Magic."

His sister Margaret Mackay was an editor.

Mackay issued two subsequent periodicals under the same title in 1942, though apparently quite different from the original magazine.[1]
