Malford Thewlis

Dr. M. W. Thewlis was a magician, escape artist and physician.

He was authority on geriatrics and author of medical books. Thewlis paid his way through Bowdoin College with profits from performing professional magic shows, sometimes with Sam Bailey.[1]

On his own press, he printed directions for S. Wilson Bailey to accompany his catalog tricks.

A member of the IBM (No. 2231) participating with the Ring in Rhode Island and was member number 1545 of the SAM.
