Mars, the Magician was a Florida based magician Alston Cockrell.
Mars started out as a semi-professional and later created a full evening show.
He served as president of IBM Ring No. 130 in Jacksonville in the 1950s.
He retired from performing in 1978. A photo can be seen in the Conjuring Arts exhibit "The Many Faces of Magic"[1]
