Welles performed his Mercury Wonder Show magic act as a cameo in "Follow the Boys". It's the piece of the show on film and you see [[Marlene Dietrich]] sawed in half after Columbia Pictures refused to allow the original show performer [[Rita Hayworth]] to participate.<br />

Elements of the show were included in Welles production of "Around the World" which played at the [[Adelphi Theater]] in New York.<br />
