Michael Perovich (b. 1946), a retired civil engineer and amateur magician in Los Angeles, is an active member of the Academy of Magical Arts and a frequent visitor of the Magic Castle.

Biography

Perovich has been a columnist for M-U-M magazine and has published articles in Ye Olde Magic Mag, as well as an article on J. Warren Keane in Magic Magazine.

His own routines have been published in Genii, Talisman, and The Ganson Book.

Perovich, a friend of Bruce Cervon's, provided introductions to Bruce Cervon Hard-Boiled Mysteries (1998) and the Castle Notebooks Vol 1 (2007).

Perovich is author of The Vernon Companion (2014).

He is an active member of SoCal Sodality (a small invitation only group of Southern California magic enthusiasts}, Los Magicos, Wizards West, FISM, The Magic Circle, and The Society of American Magicians.
