Rev. Mildred Bangs Wynkoop, ordained minister in the Church of the Nazaren, was an Evangelist who used magic tricks to illustrate her teachings. [1]

She got interested in magic from Bill Larsen and occasional submitted articles to Genii in the "Paging the Ladies" sections.[2]

The Wynkoop Center for Women in Ministry located in Kansas City, Missouri is named in her honour.
