Minerva (fl. 1900-1920), born Margaretha Gertz Van Dorn of German decent, was a successful escape artist at the beginning of the 1900s.
Biography
She performed in America, Canada, Cuba, Germany, France, Hungary and Great Britain as the "American Queen of Mystery".[1]
Minerva married Guy Jarrett, her second marriage, around 1913.
