Neyhart Houlette was a Gimmick to perform the Rising Card effect developed by Arthur P. Neyhart in the 1930s.

Neyhart manufactured a limited number (possibly less then 100) made out of Bakelite (a synthetic resin), along with leather carrying case and custom manufactured Bee-back playing cards.

It allowed any card named by the audience to rise out of a 52 card deck without the assistance of any stooges, threads or electronics.

It was featured in Hilliard's Greater Magic.
